Food: Broccoli Salad Recipe

Broccoli Salad... sounds like something I would HATE. Yet, I love it! You can barely tell it has anything healthy in it. Ha! This one is always a hit with the entire family.

3 stalks broccoli
1 pkg ready-to-eat real bacon bits (about 3 oz I think)
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup red onion diced
1 cup mayo
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar

Of course you could fry yourself up about 1/2 a pack of bacon and put in there instead of the ready-to-eat stuff.. but I say lets go with what is easiest. Bacon isn't really healthy no matter how u fix it, right? It sure tastes good though!

Rinse and then chop the 3 stalks of broccoli up. Use only the tops in your salad. Add that into a bowl with the bacon, diced onions, and raisins. Mix mayo, sugar, and vinegar. Pour over broccoli mixture. Cover, put in fridge and allow it to sit overnight. Just mix well before serving and enjoy!
