Tutorial: How To Freeze Corn on the Cob

How to Freeze Corn on the Cob

Many thanks to my sister-in-law Melanie for allowing us to use her photos.

First, you will need to get yourself some corn on the cob.
Then, you will need to shuck and wash the corn. Make sure to remove all the silks.
Fill a cooker with water and allow it to start boiling, put the corn in the water, and blanch it. This means just let it stay in the boiling water about 5 minutes.

Now remove the corn from the water and allow it to cool.
Once the corn has cooled enough for you to be able to handle it, wrap it in plastic wrap.
Then wrap in aluminum foil.
Freeze and Enjoy!
