Next, we have one of our strawberry plants. You can see the little ones growing, slowly but surely. Last year we bought a lone plant at Lowe's. This year three grew back. I read somewhere that you could do something to the runners and get more plants. Anyone care to explain?
Last, but certainly not least we have one of our tomato plants that my Dad gave us. This one is a yellow tomato. I don't know the specific type. He also gave us three of these and a purple one. I think four plants should be a good amount for us as long as they grow good. How many would u plant?

Just cut the runners and transplant it to another spot. If you let several runners growing on the same plant, it is said to reduce yield because they use the energy to grow another new plant instead focusing on fruit production.
Thanks! I'll try that!
